UPDATE: The first 100 Djinns are now in the stitching process and should begin shipping to customers in early October with the next 100 not too far behind – along with the overwhelming response from all of you, the percentage of customs (nearly 40% of all orders) surprised us, requiring significantly more labor to accurately cut and assemble.
Customers who ordered on or before August 4 will be in the first 100 being stitched as we speak, all orders placed between August 5 and 28 should be in the second 100, with any orders placed after August 28 projected to ship in time for Christmas.
While we cannot guarantee the deliver schedule, I strongly suggest you place your order now if you want to make sure your kite(s) have any chance of being delivered before the new year.
In the meantime, we’re just now entering at the end of a 4 week journey to UK, Denmark and France where lots of fliers from over a dozen countries have had an opportunity to examine and test the Djinn for themselves… Just like automobiles, kites are a very subjective experience but suffice it to say that we are extremely pleased with the general response, particularly by those with an eye for detail.
To cap it all off, we’re now finishing this trip in Marseille, France where I had one HECK of a good time playing and filming on the water at Plage du Prado… I hope you all enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed making it:
